Lawyers for Brazilian football representative Neymar have denied that the Paris striker St. Germain is the organizer of a huge Christmas party in his luxury villa near Rio de Janeiro. For several days now, the local media have been intensively dealing with this topic, according to which hundreds of invited guests are to take part in the party lasting several days.
The 28-year-old footballer spends the turn of the year in his home country, which is one of the most affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, the organization of the week-long celebration caused a great stir. The media is competing to obtain information that, for example, all visitors must hand in their mobile phones when entering so that no images are leaked to the public.
Farbrica confirmed the organization of the event at the site of Neymar's villa, but the player's lawyers denied any connection to the celebration with their client. "No. It's a matter for the agency and it has nothing to do with Neymar," they told AFP. "We have no information about such an event," said the local city council in Mangaratiba, a resort with a number of luxury private residences near Rio. Neymar himself, who has not been playing since December 13 after injuring a member in a match with Lyon, does not comment on the topic either.
