Dutch footballer Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has confirmed that his former club Schalke 04 Gelsenkirchen is interested in him. Ajax Amsterdam, a 37-year-old striker, has not ruled out his departure for Germany, the DPA news agency reported.
"It's a difficult decision. Ajax and Schalke are my heart's desires, I've spent thirteen years together in both clubs," said Huntelaar, who scored 126 goals in Schalke's jersey. In the event of a transfer, he should help Schalke fight for the Bundesliga in the spring.
