Former FC Barcelona footballer Kevin-Prince Boateng came up with an interesting idea. He called on his former teammate Lionel Messi to sign a contract with Naples after this season. By moving to an Italian club, you would honor the memory of Diego Maradona.

"I often hear about comparing Messi with Maradon, so I think he should continue in Naples after the contract expires in Barcelona," Boateng told ESPN.

The Argentine striker has a contract with the Catalans only for this season, and in the past there has been more and more speculation about his departure. Messi himself admitted that he longed for change.

Although the most inclination is the transfer to Manchester City or Paris St. Germain, Boateng believes that Messi should follow the heart and not the money: "Imagine that he would come there and win the title with Naples, as Maradon did. It would be an amazing story worth filming."
