Chelsea hopes to reach a deal with Manchester United over goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has spent the last two years visiting Sheffield United.

Henderson is a 23-year-old banker with the potential to act as a unit in Manchester United. His chances are reduced by the fact that David De Gea is currently working as a unit.

The goalkeeper is most likely heading for the sixth place in a row, but according to THE SUN, Chelsea has prepared a £ 50m package in the fight for Henderson. Chelsea coach Frank Lampard came up with a serious offer for young Henderson.

Chelsea hopes that Henderson will be attracted to the Champions League, in which he should take the lead on the defending line. This option would increase his chances of becoming the first choice for England in the postponed EURO 2020 final, which will take place at the end of next season due to the postponement.
