(Reading time: 1 minute)

Liverpool FC football coach Jürgen Klopp revealed that his club is looking for a defender on the market with players. However, he is not sure whether he will be able to find a suitable transfer by Monday's deadline.

"The Reds" suffer injuries from defensive players. Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have been out of the game for a long time, and Joel Matip had to be replaced after half time on Thursday in the winning match against Tottenham (3: 1). Fabinho's defensive midfielder will not be available for the next Premier League duel against West Ham. "Matip's injury evoked emotions in me. There is a glimmer of hope that it is not serious, but it certainly did not ease the situation for us," Klopp told AFP.

Liverpool's leadership is ready to pay £ 80 million for the new defender. Klopp would welcome a long-term solution to the defense problem. "I don't think a player with such a value should sell a club quickly. I have no idea if such a player is available on the market at all. "Klopp admitted.
