The management of the English Premier League football is examining the conditions for Robert Snodgrass's winter transfer from West Ham United to West Bromwich Albion. The agreement between the clubs also contains a clause that prevented the 33-year-old winger from joining their 18th round match on Tuesday, in which West Ham won at home 2: 1.

WBA-compromised coach Sam Allardyce released the information two weeks ago: "The clubs agreed. If we wanted to complete the transfer, we had to agree." According to West Ham, it was not a formal matter, but rather a gentleman's agreement. In such a case, however, it is a violation of competition rules, which clearly state: "The club cannot enter into a contractual relationship with anyone who would gain the ability to influence its internal policy, or could have a direct impact on the performance of its teams in league competitions." The information was provided by the AP agency.
