The Premier League announced today that the clubs will continue to do full contact training. At the shareholders' meeting, the clubs unanimously voted for the release of group trainings in preparation for the completion of the 2019/2020 season.
After last week's return of trainings, in which the size of the training groups was limited to 5 players, another stage of release was approved. However, this is not a complete return to training as we have become accustomed to. Further release steps will be implemented in the third step, which will be discussed in the coming days, as well as plans to renew the season.
"PL shareholders voted unanimously today to continue contact training, which is another step towards renewing the season. The priority for us is the health and comfort of all involved. There are currently strict protocols that make the training area the safest environment. ”Premier League statement
