At the age of 71, former Juventus Turin and Italian football team Pietro Anastasi died on Friday.
In 1968 he enjoyed a triumph at the European Championships, scoring in the final against Yugoslavia (2: 0).
For Juventus, Anastasi totaled eight seasons, scoring 130 goals in 303 for his third championship titles. Later he also wore the jerseys of Inter Milan, Ascoli and Lugano. He played for Italy 25 times.
