Bayern secured a place at the top of the table

Bayern Munich gained full control of the Bundesliga title on enemy territory.

Joshua Kimmich knocked one home from a counterattack down the right wing, making the score 0 - 1 after 43 minutes. Borussia collected a goal, which cost them another three points in the chase for the first place in the table.

The home win would narrow the gap to a loss of one point, which could result in a furious end to the season. Instead, Bayern has more confidence in the first place, bringing him close to eighth.
