FC Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique has announced that he will say goodbye to his career in the Catalan jersey. According to his own words, he would no longer find motivation if he moved to another club.

The Spanish defender told Marco's daily: "I'm retiring as a Barcelona player. I've always said I play football because I represent Barca. I can't imagine playing on the other team. I wouldn't find any motivation to play for another team, it would be a nuisance. "

Born in Barcelona, the 34-year-old footballer is a foster child of the club. In 2004-2008, however, he worked at Manchester United, during which time the English sent him to visit Real Zaragoza. Then he returned to Barcelona.
