Man United hammer Newcastle
Manchester United were in Premier League action vs Newcastle United this past Saturday.
The clash of course saw Cristiano Ronaldo , who re-signed for Manchester United over the summer, his second debut for the club.
The Portuguese was thrust straight into the Red Devils’ starting line-up, playing alongside Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood in a front-three.
And it would not take long for CR7 to net his first goal back at Old Trafford, putting Man United in front in first-half injury time.
Javier Manquillo would later pull Newcastle level after 56 minutes. However, Ronaldo then added a second shortly after the hour-mark, with Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard adding some gloss to the scoreline late on.

De Gea explains how he can help Man United attacks
Amid the return of Ronaldo, the exploits of other United stars on the day went under the radar somewhat.
In particular, David de Gea. The Spaniard played a key role in United’s 3rd of the day, smashing a kick from his box right up to the other edge of the pitch.
This eventually led to Bruno Fernandes scoring and putting the result beyond doubt.
And now, the Spaniard has been discussing his kick and has highlighted how he can help Man United attacks by passing the ball as quickly as possible to help with counter-attacks, as United have past players:
“It should be half an assist! [Smiles]
“I have done this many times. Sometimes, you make a good pass but it doesn’t end in a goal so it takes on less importance. I like to pass the ball and play as quickly as possible because I know we have fast players in the team so we try to play quick on the counter-attack.
“I feel very well, I feel strong, confident,” he added. “I try to train at 100 per cent every day and help the team all the time… with the distribution and with everything, with the boys at the back, with some presence, I’m here to help the team.”
