In this article we will bring you all of today’s Tottenham Hotspur transfer news. Make sure to check back tomorrow for more updates.

Spurs close to sealing double signing

With a new manager now firmly in place, all eyes have now turned to Tottenham’s transfer dealings. Having finished a disappointing 7th last season (although notably above their north London rivals Arsenal), new man Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking to strengthen a stale Spurs side.

According to trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano, they are about to do just that. A deal for goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini from Atalanta is “confirmed and set to be signed in the next hours”. The deal is an initial loan with an option to extend the loan for a further season and a further option to buy for 15 million euros.

In addition, creative winger Bryan Gil, “the little Cruyff” in Spain, is set to join the club from Sevilla in exchange for 25 million euros and Erik Lamela heading to Spain.

Gil spent last season on loan with Spanish side Eibar, but was unable to prevent their ultimate relegation. Nevertheless, he was a standout player in the side and became the first Eibar player to ever be called up to the Spanish national team in March of this year.

He represents a young, exciting talent making his way to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, something that lilywhite fans will be hoping may long continue.

Lloris to stay

Despite Gollini’s impending arrival, The Athletic reports that he will provide competition for, rather than replace, current number 1 Hugo Lloris.

Per @FabrizioRomano and @DiMarzio, understand Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini is heading to #THFC, initially on loan.

As for Lloris, as we reported last week he’ll discuss future with Spurs when back from holiday in coming weeks, but expectation is he’ll stay this season

The France and Tottenham Hotspur captain remains on holiday following Euro 2020, but is thought to be planning to stay and fight for his place for the upcoming campaign.

Six players in the shop window

With two incomings on the cards, it seems only sensible that some players are set to leave. However, The Times report that as many as six players are in the shop window. Toby Alderweireld, who was reported to want out of the club earlier this summer, is available, as is full-back Serge Aurier.

In addition to this pair, however, Eric Dier, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Harry Winks and Davinson Sanchez are also all thought to be available for the right prices, with Santo targetting a major clear out this summer.
