(Reading time: 2 - 3 minutes)

A series of photos and videos have surfaced on social media this evening, showcasing the chaotic scenes unfolding ahead of Arsenal’s meeting with Everton.

Toffees clash

Mikel Arteta and co. are of course set to return to action shortly.

The Gunners will welcome Everton to north London, for a highly anticipated Premier League showdown.

As things stand, the two sides are separated by just a solitary place in the English top-flight, with Carlo Ancelotti’s visitors boasting the advantage, amid a continued push for European football.

As such, a hard-fought, end-to-end affair is widely predicted on Friday night.

‘Get out of our club!’

Ahead of kick-off at the Emirates, however, it is not the upcoming 90 minutes themselves which have taken centre stage in the pre-match chatter.

Instead, it is a major protest being held by the Arsenal faithful.

The Gunners were of course one of twelve European heavyweights to have been in the headlines this week, after entering, and quickly departing the widely maligned European Super League.

The club’s fans, though, are understandably not yet over what was viewed by most as an outright betrayal on the part of their owners.

In turn, despite the action remaining hours from actually getting underway in north London, Arsenal’s fanbase have flocked to the Emirates in their hundreds, to call for Stan Kroenke to sell up, and move on:
