Serie A clubs are returning to group training, even though the restart date is still unclear.

From May 18, clubs can continue training to the full, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said on Saturday. Serie A has been suspended since March 9, and no restart date has been set to date.

Italy was the first European country to be hit hard by a coronavirus pandemic, while Serie A was the first league to play without spectators and also the first league to interrupt the season.

Conte confirmed the return of the teams to joint training, but information about the relaunch of the league remained shrouded in "veils" of expectations. "The pressure to launch Serie A is huge, we have to be 100% ready. The highest security measures need to be put in place so that we can move forward. "We need guarantees for the exact date, which we do not have in the current situation," added Conte.
