After the end of the current extended season, negotiations will begin between Kevin de Bruyne and Manchester City.

The 28-year-old midfielder is considering joining his future with the City or considering leaving for another team. An important factor for Kevin is the two-year ban in the Champions League, which influences his decision. Another factor that may weigh is the extension of the contract with coach Pep Guardiol, with whom he has an above-standard relationship, even though the player has stated that his decision will not be affected by his signature.

As for the Champions League, the City leadership is constantly claiming from its players that UEFA's decision will be overturned after appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

After David Silva's departure, the club's bosses continue to hope to keep the player they consider to be captain. De Bruyne has so far rejected proposals to leave the Etihad Stadium, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain still monitoring his situation.

Manchester City hopes to sign a new contract with Kevin De Bruyne by the end of the 2019-2020 season. Cities are ready to present him with a contract that will earn him more than £ 280,000 a week.
